Amb. Lomas was accompanied by Rwanda’s Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Dr. Vincent Biruta as he met with Kagame at Village Urugwiro yesterday.
On 1st January 2021, the United Kingdom appointed Omar Daair to replace Amb. Lomas.
The newly appointed high commissioner is however expected to take office in July 2021.
Amb. Lomas presented credentials to President Kagame on 16th January 2018 replacing William Gelling.
