Kagame receives letters of credence from new ambassadors

The new envoys received on Monday 25th April 2022 include Sommel Yabao Mbaidickoye of the Republic of Chad, Silvio José Albuquerque e Silva of the Federative Republic of Brazil and Marie Charlotte G. Tang of the Republic of the Philippines.

The Head of State also received credentials from new High Commissioners namely; Lebbius Tangeni Tobias of the Republic of Namibia and Esmond St. Clair Reid of Jamaica. The latter will have residence in Nigeria.

Amb. Reid presents credentials following the recent visit of President Kagame to Jamaica where he held talks with different top government officials and addressed the country’s parliamentarians.

Among others, Marie Charlotte Tang will oversee interests of Philippines to Rwanda with residence in Nairobi, the capital of Kenya; Amb. Silvio José Albuquerque e Silva of Brazil will also have residence in Kenya, Amb. Lebbius Tangeni Tobias has residence in Dar es Salaam, the capital of Tanzania while Sommel Yabao Mbaidickoye of Tchad has residence in Congo Brazzaville.

The envoys held talks with Kagame revolving around deepening bilateral relations.

Amb. Esmond St. Clair Reid will represent Jamaica in Rwanda with residence in Nigeria.
Amb. Lebbius Tangeni Tobias of Namibia has residence in Tanzania.
Amb. Silvio José Albuquerque e Silva of Brazil also presented credentials to President Kagame.
President Kagame has received Amb. Marie Charlotte Tang of Philippines to Rwanda.
Amb. Sommel Yabao Mbaidickoye of Tchad has residence in Congo Brazzaville.
