{{President Paul Kagame today has presided over the graduation of 118 students that completed their studies at Agahozo Shalom Youth Village.}}
In his speech, President Kagame congratulated graduates and all those that worked and supported them to establish Agahozo centre.
“Agahozo Shalom Youth Village is not an ordinary school; in this village you have successfully developed learning and teaching experience that is unique” Kagame commended.
He noted that Agahozo has restored hope to some of the most vulnerable children in the country adding that a spirit of this school is about resilience, transformation of lives and strength of character.
”This is definitely a very good example of a partnership that works between people from across the world and our country who shared a common vision for a better world.”
Kagame said the centre represents in a special way Rwanda’s tragic past history but also the future that the country wants.
“You have a strong foundation on which to build your future, this is just a start of many opportunities to seize and explore,” Kagame said.
Permanent Secretary of Education Sharon Haba also thanked graduates urging them to work hard to positively shape their future.
“You have been given all the tools, we look to you to set the pace for those behind you” Haba said.
