Kagame calls for stronger regional cooperation

{President Paul Kagame has said that there is a lot of potential in the African region that should be unlocked through strong collaboration and integration.}

He made the call yesterday during talks at the East Africa Business Council (EABC) in World Economic Forum held in Davos, Switzerland.

The forum deliberated on how economic development and social wellbeing can be improved through collaboration of regional countries.

He said that failure to fully integrate continues to hamper African investments, markets and development goals.

“That is why we are doing all that is possible to reduce apparent business obstacles, improving infrastructures and cooperation,” he said.

During the World Economic Forum that started on 20th January, 2015 and expected to last four days, President Kagame has expressed hope for African economic development, the role of technology in development, citizens’ welfare and investment.
