{{The Joint Verification Mechanism Team of International Conference on the Great Lakes Region (ICGLR) has today arrived at shelled site inside Rwanda at (Cyamabuye village in Busasamana Sector) to assess the situation on ground.
DRC troops yesterday shelled into Rwandan territory prompting Rwanda Defence Forces to return fire and repulsing the Congolese Forces and killing some of them.
The JVM team allows the two neighbouring countries to verify and clear all accusations between them for the border area.
Members of the joint verification mechanism team later document all allegations and suspicions.}}

The JVM consists of a team of 24 senior military officers drawn from the 11 member states members of the ICGLR.
The DRC and Rwanda are both represented by three officers each, while the other nine countries each have two delegates.
