Japan Ambassador to Rwanda, Kunio Hatanaka has announced plans of his country to invest in Rwanda’s agriculture sector as well as adding value to Rwanda’s Agricultural production.
“Here in Rwanda, you have the products which motivate foreign investors to come to Rwanda” Hatanaka said.
He added that Japan has developed due to the technologies that advances Japan’s small and medium business.
Hatanaka noted that in Rwanda, “there are good reputations in Agriculture,” adding that Japan investors will help to add the value to Rwanda’s products; coffee, tea, macadamia and other products.
“We have done studies in Rwanda’s agricultural sector and we are to partner in this field and bring equipment and processing machines to improve Rwanda agricultural products,” Ambassador said.
