ISonga F.C gets trapped in a Spider-web

{{Just after suffering from the relegation headache, Isonga released all its players (squad), adding to our woes of being relegated, World football govern ring body FIFA has issued a decision for the club to free Ferwafa structures. }}

Having said that, it looks like the club is now caught in a spider’s web; and that brings me back to the issue of relegation once again. Indeed it wasn’t a shock; following the systemic failure as far as losing matches is concerned.

Their performance in just concluded 2012/13 Primus league season was a wreck.

The reason was simple, lack of experience to battle opponents like Rayon Sport. The youth club became the new darling of the Primus league two years ago, after playing the U-17 Mexican World Cup.

They’re dipped in this flying plan called the Primus league; only to realize Ex-coach Vincent Mashami was holding the pan. Which was just in hope other than expectations? Only to be dipped in alarmingly situations.

Secondly, the 2012/2013 squad is that to be released, and management will start the process of finding new players from local academies and talent detection centre’s to reinstate in the new squad. Such a move is positive; because players like Butera (APR), Emery Bayisenga surfaced and managed to join the national level. Last year, the club sold eight players to different clubs akin to APR, Rayon, Police and others.

I’m sorry to say, the Primus league is not the right place to state from. There stages for a baby born from a mother’s womb, jumping to the adult league before going through the division footsteps creates setbacks.

Off-course they would not make wonders, unless miracles happen. Now that they are relegated am sorry to say; that is the right place to be.

There bottom-line kick is no surprise for a struggling team, but to gain experience with the likes of Esparence, Gicumbi and Bugesera.

The club doesn’t spend in acquiring players apart from maintaining them. And wining in the Primus league means Cash counts the theory goes! And lack comes later. Which proves the relationship between successes in gambling? Clubs that spend do better.

On the other hand, it is not the spending per se that is the problem (though spending usually helps); other variables like input of a good or bad coach seems to be a consideration.

Youth clubs like Isonga will continue to struggle and suffer the indignity of lodging, relegation and overhaul because of lack of proper strategy.

If the team can only be maintained as a club, future national players will crop-up but selling them to bigger clubs where they don’t get the opportunity to feat and show case the skill means being forgotten.

The question is out of the eight players sold last year, what is their fate today.
