The shooting happened around 1:00 a.m. in a building located in Adelanto.
According to media reports, the deceased were identified as Maqwan Allen from Rancho Cucamonga and Derrick Irutingabo from Arizona, all aged 20.
Police have announced that Irutingabo was found dead from a gunshot wound while his colleague died at a hospital.
Five other people ranging from 14 to 40 years old were found injured by gunshots and hospitalized.
Following the incident, some of Rwandans took to Twitter to mourn the loss of Irutingabo.
It is said that Irutingabo was born on 23rd August 2002 in Kibondo, Tanzania to Edward Hakizimana and Anny Z Ngendakumana.
He arrived in US on 14th September 2004 along with his family. He graduated from Rose Academy in 2020.
