Rwanda Minister of Education Dr. Vincent Biruta has urged schools to provide quality Education that responds to the needs of Rwandans.
The Minister made the remarks while visiting former Tumba College of Technology that is now an Integrated Polytechnic Regional Center North.
Minister Biruta has urged IPRC North to respond to the need of communities by designing different programs that contribute to their socio economic development.
He said that IPRC North is the source of solutions to the challenges that residents face adding that Rwanda will develop through Technical and Vocational Practices.
Head of IPRC North, Eng. Gatabazi Pascal revealed that the later has the objective of becoming Rwanda’s Centre of Excellence.
According to study conducted by the School, it was noted 97% of employers are happy with the performance of employed graduates from IPRC North.
To date IPRC North counts 600 students scattered in branches namely Alternative Energy where they acquire skills of producing renewable energy, Electronics and Telecommunication and Information Technology.
