Girls in ICT Rwanda was born out of the ITUs Girls in ICT day.
Today, the group consists of women in ICT including entrepreneurs, professionals and university students whose mission is to inspire girls to consider ICT as a career option as well help them to understand and appreciate the importance of developing ICT skills in any career.
This Career Fair will bring together public and private sector institutions, Higher Institutions of Learning as well as high schools to showcase their work in ICT related fields, connect with potential employers/employees as well as participate in knowledge sharing sessions.
Girls in ICT conducts school visits where they encourage teenage girls to consider ICT as a career option and also help them to understand and appreciate the importance of developing ICT skills in any career.
