Indonesia-Rwanda Agree to Strengthen Relations in Various Sectors

At a bilateral meeting on the sidelines of the 60th Asia-Africa Conference, Indonesia Vice President Jusuf Kalla and the Prime Minister of Rwanda, Anastase Murekezi, agreed to strengthen bilateral relations in trade and investment, technical cooperation and socio-cultural.

The ANTARA News Agency reported that the Indonesian Vice President welcomed the proposal of organizing a business roundtable in Jakarta and delivery of high-level delegation to Rwanda to boost trade and investment between the two countries.

Also He expressed willingness to hold technical cooperation and capacity building in the agricultural sector and the development of SMEs.

In the socio-cultural field, in addition to delivering a commitment to continue providing scholarships for Rwandan students, Vice President welcomed the Rwandan government plans to send delegation of art to Jakarta in order to introduce Indonesian culture to the people of Rwanda.
