The Inspector General of Police (IGP), Emmanuel K. Gasana has commended the good work done by officers stationed at Kigali International Airport, and urged them to always work professionally for the pride of the uniform and for the country.
IGP Gasana was addressing officers working at the Airport, in a meeting held at the Rwanda National Police Headquarters in Kacyiru on February 1.
“Your work station is an area where Rwanda receives people from various parts of the world; therefore, your professionalism will contribute to the image that our country has managed to build over the years,” he said.
“The people you receive come from different backgrounds and many of them expect a high level of service delivery and customer care. As Police officers, you are charged with always being vigilant to do what is right. Never let your guard down.”
He also reminded the officers to be watchful and vigilant and protect the Airport against any security threat and suspicious individuals.
