{International Conference on the Great Lakes Region (ICGLR) has requested United Nations and other stakeholders to move fast in deporting to Rwanda or other countries outside the region former FDLR combatants settled in camps after putting guns down.}
This is one of the 40 resolutions of International Conference on the Great Lakes Region held on June 6th 2016 in which Rwanda was represented by the Minister of Defense Gen.James Kabarebe.
The meeting highlighted security issues and heads of state commended the Democratic Republic of Congo for efforts in combating rebel outfits like ADF,FLDR and requested FARDC to continue collaborating with MONUSCO in eradicating completely these armed rebel groups.
