Husband kills wife, commits suicide

The mayor of Muhanga district, Beatrice Uwamariya has told IGIHE that investigation is underway to establish probable cause.

She explained that residents attributed the incident to domestic disputes and separation as the wife had fled to parents’ home.

“We have learned that the murder might be connected to family disputes. It is said that the wife had fled their marital home. The husband brought back his wife a few days back and mended their relationship before the incident took place,” she said.
