Grenade explosion injures four in Kamembe town, masterminds on the run

The spokesperson of RNP, CP John Bosco Kabera has said that attackers have not yet been identified.

“On 19th around 7:30 pm, unidentified people detonated a grenade in Kamember town of Rusizi district leaving minor injuries to four people who were rushed to the hospital,” reads RNP statement in part.

“Security personnel has launched an investigation to track the masterminds behind the explosion,’ adds the statement.

Rwanda National Police (RNP) has confirmed that a grenade blast in Kamembe town, Rusizi district injured four people Saturday.
