{{The Governor of Eastern province, Odette Uwamariya has commended residents of Kiyombe Sector in Nyagatare District for their significant contribution towards socio economic development in the area.}}
She was visiting some of the development infrastructures located in Kiyombe Sector including; Cyondo Vocational Training Centre which has 80 students enrolled in different Vocational disciplines namely, sewing Arts, Construction as well as plumbing.
Uwamariya also presided over the inauguration of Kabare II Secondary School that was constructed in line with the 12 Year Basic Education program.
The Executive Secretary of Kiyombe Sector, Mwumvaneza Emmanuel said the Governor’s visit will strengthen citizens’ commitments adding that they are going to make more practical efforts to achieve steady development.
They pledged to speed up construction of Umurenge Saving and Credit Cooperative, constructing Cells offices as well as sensitizing Citizens on Health Insurance Scheme.
