In line with Good Governance month launched last month, residents of Nyamasheke District have began a soccer competition dubed Umurenge Kagame cup to marks progress in good governance.
The Mayor of Nyamasheke District Jean Baptiste Habyarimana has told youth who made the teams in competitions that good governance can be achieved through games adding that the later bring leisure among citizens.
He stressed that sports activities also contribute to unity and reconciliation process as well as helping to notice the level of development among youths.
Habyarimana urged Nyamasheke residents to support youth are participating in Umurenge Kagame Cup competions.
The competition brought together Village teams around Nyamasheke District.
