Meanwhile, the Commissioner for Operations in Rwanda National Police, Commissioner of Police (CP) Emmanuel Butera, on Friday met local leaders of Cyumba and security personnel in Gicumbi, and urged them to tighten operations against criminality.
Cyumba is said to be the major transit route for smugglers, drug traffickers especially dealing in illicit gin such as Kanyanga and other contrabands parked in banned plastic bags.
