Gen Kabarebe urges women to uphold values that led to the Liberation of Rwanda

{Gen Kabarebe said that patriotism, visionary leadership, ideological clarity, discipline, resilience, courage, consistency, economy of effort and innovation among others are key values that helped the Rwanda Patriotic Army to succeed during the liberation struggle. He urged women to uphold those values as they are still valid to lead the country to development. }

“The current struggle for Rwandans is about poverty eradication, fight against corruption and promoting good health of our citizens. This should be your role as leaders” Gen Kabarebe told 450 women undergoing 10 days of training in Nkumba.

Mukanjishi Joele from Kicukiro District said “Itorero improved our talents and encouraged us to make our contribution to the development of our country”. She emphasized that they are ready to share the lessons learned with other women where they live.
