G.S Kanama-Catholique Students Urged on Reading Culture

Parents and teachers have been urged to encourage children to adopt a culture of reading that would in effect contribute to high skills and Knowledge among children.

The call was made by John Rutayisire, the Director General of Rwanda education during the Inspection on Education quality at G.S Kanama-Catholique located in Rubavu District.

It was noticed that the Pupils of P6 at G.S Kanama-Catholique have made significant progress in the use of ICT.

However, Education inspectors found that the reading culture was at the low levels.

Rutayisire urged teachers to provide books to students so that they can read and increase their knowledge.

He pledged ICT equipment to the school to fast track ICT education in G.S Kanama-Catholique.
