{Rwanda Utility Regulatory Authority (RURA) has announced the drop of fuel price to go into force in September, 2016.}
The statement released by RURA yesterday indicates that fuel price in September and October must not go beyond Rwf 888 per liter down from Rwf 948.
The changes have complied with accepted international price of petroleum products. It is supposed that the price will be changed after the two months depending on international market prices.
New prices are set to go into force today, 3rd September, 2016.
