Bralirwa & Bank of Kigali Share Prices Up

{{In today’s Business update, the RWanda Stock Exchange RSE share index (RSI) went up 1.54 points to close at 165.24 and mainly pushed by the rising Bralirwa and BK share price which closed at Rwf 646 and Rwf 131 respectively. }}

The total turnover for the day was Rwf 13,253,900 from 54,800 BK shares and 9,500 Bralirwa shares traded in 14 deals compared to the previous trading session which recorded a turnover of Rwf 122,205,600 from 935,200 BK shares and 1,000 Bralirwa shares traded in five.

BK shares traded between Rwf 129 and Rwf 131 and closed at 131, registering an increase of Rwf 2 compared to yesterday’s closing price whereas Bralirwa counter traded between Rwf 641 and Rwf 646 and closed at 646, registering an increase of Rwf 5 compared to yesterday’s closing price. KCB shares last transacted at Rwf 160 while NMG shares last transacted at Rwf 1,200.

At the end of formal trading hours, there were outstanding bids of 1,540,600 BK shares between Rwf 129 and Rwf 131 and no outstanding offers.

On Bralirwa counter, there were outstanding bids of 41,400 shares between Rwf 635 and Rwf 645 and no outstanding offers.

This week the RSE market was busy and recorded a higher turnover compared to last week’s trading session.

The total turnover for this week was Rwf 1,052,097,500 from 1,285,800 BK shares and 1,382,900 Bralirwa shares traded in 42 deals compared to last week’s trading session which recorded a turnover of Rwf 31,957,500 from 80,100 BK shares and 34,200 Bralirwa shares traded in 16 deals.
