It is reported that the young man, 21, went missing on 13th August 2021 as he traveled from Musanze town to Kidaho in Burera district to sell his laptop.
News about Habimana’s death circulated when a man was caught on the way to sell his clothes and a cell phone. The suspect disclosed that Habimana was dead.
RNP has via Twitter handle revealed that four suspects connected to the murder have been arrested as investigation is underway.
“We have arrested four people suspected of conspiracy in the murder of Gad Habimana. They are detained as Muhoza Police Station as investigation is underway,” reads the tweet.
