Madam Jeannette Kagame has reminded Rwandans to uphold Rwandan spirit as one of pillars enabling to avoid whatever can take the country back to dark history.
Madam Jeannette Kagame made the call yesterday as she presided the handover of two houses built for genocide widows with the support of Unity Club ‘Intwararumuri’ in collaboration with BRD and NAEB.
“Let’s strive for Rwandan spirit which will win whatever and defeat whoever is intending to hold us back. It is the best way of granting dignity and honor to Rwandans who took the initiative to liberate the country,” she said.
Madam Jeannette Kagame stressed that no more wars will occur if Rwandans embrace these values.
“If we keep valuing it and live in harmony, we will no longer engage in such fights,” she said.
Madam Jeannette Kagame lauded genocide survivors in general for perseverance to live with genocide wounds and resilience, reconciliation and striving for Rwandans’ value.
President Paul Kagame will today join Rweru sector residents in Bugesera district in the liberation party. Last year’s main celebrations were held in Gicumbi district.
