Women working in the multi-Service Company-Akagera Business Group (ABG) have visited the sick people at CHUK hospital as an act of charity that will continue in other hospitals.
On 3rd April 2015, those women visited patients at the CHUK donated milk, soaps, cosmetics, and many other items including praying for the patients.
Patients thanked them for the benevolent acts.
Ntiyamira Claudette who headed the ABG women delegation pledges that the same acts will be held in many other hospitals to reach more patients in need of help.
She said “We are not going to end with this hospital. We will continue to do the same in many other hospitals to support those in need.”
The ABG women association revealed that the idea of visiting sick people was conceived during the celebration of the International Women’s Day on 8th March 2015.
