{The Governor of the Northern Province Aimé Bosenibamwe was accused of close collaboration with the FDLR rebels.}
The accusations emerged on Thursday during a court hearing in Musanze where one of the five alleged accomplices of the FDLR Jotham Nsengiyumva just accused the Governor of very close collaboration with the FDLR that caused recent insecurity in the northern region.
Jotham went to the guilty plea to all charges against him in court.
He said his accomplices were funded by the Governor.
However the Governor speaking to IGIHE slams all accusations adding there may be some people who are using the suspects to confess while at the same time forging allegations against him.
Meanwhile Jotham said the Governor has promised ten million Rwf to the group of 15 persons to destabilize Musanze District.
He explained that the ten million was pledged to the group that was to endorse the state of insecurity in Musanze and kill the District’s mayor Mpembyemungu if necessary.
The accuser said the Governor direct them to kill the Mayor so that the later cannot replace him as the Province Governor.
The Court thought it is subterfuge and tactics of defamation.
Jotham further added that it was he who killed the police officer who was Head of the Criminal Investigation Service in Musanze district and it is he who threw the grenade into the home of the Mayor Mpembyemungu, a grenade that exploded and killed the adopted child of a year and a half.
He also confessed to being the author of the grenade that injured six people in Musanze. These grenades in question were thrown in January this year in the town of Musanze.
