Burundian Journalists exiled in Rwanda have organized a special program designed to offer a pluralist and independent information about their country while all private radio stations in Burundi have been destroyed and prevented from broadcasting, IGIHE has learnt.
For the first time, a special program prepared and presented by Burundian journalists in exile was recorded in Kigali, Rwanda. The program was broadcast by six Rwandan radio stations also broadcast in parts of Burundi. The goal, according to the show’s designers: offering a pluralist and independent information about their country as all private radio stations have been destroyed there and prevented from broadcasting, according to RFI
On Tuesday in the studio of Radio Isango Star there was a special program on the pre-electoral climate in Burundi.
