The Energy Water and Sannitation Agency EWSA has a new Director General, Ntare Karitanyi replacing Yves Muyange who has at the held of the Agency since 2008.
Ntare’s Appointment was confirmed by the Council of Ministers on February 22.
The Council also appointed Robert Nyamvumba to the position of Deputy Director General of EWSA replacing Yussuf Uwamahoro.
The Secretary of State for Energy, Emma Isumbingabo Françoise, has asked the new management to work hard to connect water and electricity to all households in Rwanda.
She has promised all necessary support from the Rwandan government.
Karitanyi worked at RURA (Rwanda Utilities Regulatory Agency) as an expert in ICT from 2008 to 2010, after leading the DIGITECH Solutions Ltd that specializes in information technologies applied to industry.
He holds a master’s degree in Industrial Technology University of Buffalo / USA (1997).
