The group headed to Kigali memorial site at Gisozi where they honoured victims of 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi.
They were also taken around the memorial site where they recieved orientation on how the Genocide was planned and executed in Rwanda in 1994.
Rwanda’s minister of East African Community Hon. Monique Mukaruriza noted that the visiting EAC lawmakers will help explain citizens from their countries the magnitude of Rwanda’s genocide crime and its impact.
