DUTERIMBERE Shareholders want Constitution Amended to allow Kagame stand for 3rd Term

{Shareholders of Duterimbere IMF have submitted their petition to lawmakers requesting them to allow the amendment of article 101 of the Rwandan constitution to allow President Paul Kagame to stand for a 3rd term.}

President Kagame is commended for his leadership as well as his role in empowering women across Rwanda.

Handing the petition to lawmakers, Mukeshimana Dative, head of DUTERIMBERE (NGO) revealed three reasons why they took such decision.
1. President Kagame has played a crucial role in women emancipation and has led them to play active role in the economic development of the country.
2. President Kagame is the only president committed to fight for the development of the women.

For women in Duterimbere it is clear that President Kagame has helped them to found a microfinance institution that is able to lend over Rwf 2 billion.
3. President Kagame has given women rights to inheritance which is a very important thing in Rwandan culture.

Basing on those three reason they find that President Kagame should be allowed to stand for third term for the benefit of women in particular and Rwandans in general.
