{Eight soldiers of the Armed Forces of the Democratic Republic of Congo (FARDC) were killed in ambushes by the rebels of the self proclaimed Democratic Forces for the Liberation of Rwanda (FDLR) in the province of North Kivu}.
The UN Mission for Stabilization of Congo (MONUSCO) told Xinhua that “On February 11, 2015, two FARDC soldiers and three FDLR rebels were killed during ambushes by Rwandan rebels in Nyamitwitwi, located 15 kilometers north-west of Nyamilima”
Colonel Felix Basse military spokesman of MONUSCO added that “Six other soldiers of the government army and the three elements of Mayi-Mayi group ‘Charles’ were killed on the same date, during attacks against the FARDC in Nyamilima region, located 110 kilometers North of Goma, ”
