The doctors at the hospital argue that Mushimiyimana may have delivered a human baby but could have hidden it and instead presented the said beast.
In a comment on the previous story, Dr Kanyankore William, Medical director Gisenyi Hospital said, “The Rwandan society should not believe this nonsense of giving birth to such a monster because this can not happen in human history and science in general.
What is most probable as doctors we confidently think the woman and others involved in delivering her at home, the woman in question all have a hidden agenda that currently police is investigating.
We should all wait for the police findings before we jump into satanic believes and theory that is unscientific.”
Dr. Kanyankore further rejected assertions by some members of the public who claimed that Mushimiyimana might have had sex with a beast saying, “it’s impossible for a human being to conceive despite having sex with an animal.”
Rubavu District Police commander told IGIHE that Investigations are ongoing to determine the truth of the matter.
