Phoenix Plaza, a Chinese company that has earned a reputation in the construction sector and real estate management, is positioned to enable Rwandans to benefit from its solutions.
Phoenix Plaza has been in Rwanda for two years in the construction of affordable apartments with a plan to expand investments.
The firm recently entered partnerships agreements with Diaspora Home Management, a company of experts guiding Rwandans from abroad on where to seek proper services in Rwanda.
The Project Officer at Diaspora Home Management Ltd, Marie B. Umuraza Rutaganda, has told IGIHE that Phoenix Plaza has been erecting infrastructures contributing to the magnificence of Kigali city in the past two years of operations in Rwanda.
She explained that agreements held on both sides are meant to help Rwandans from the diaspora to contribute to the progress of their homeland easily.
In line with its aim of providing affordable houses, Phoenix Plaza recently completed a housing estate near the Kigali Special Economic Zone, adjacent to the Kigali International Airport, where an individual can easily buy an apartment.
“The apartments are offered at an affordable price. People have to invest so to get a chance of owning one of these buildings. An added advantage of working with Phoenix Plaza, is that they manage these apartments on behalf of owners who are outside the country,” said Umuraza.
The terms and conditions involved are that a person who buys a three-room apartment gets USD $1000 rental fee per month; the owner of a two-room apartment gets USD $800 while one room apartments’ owners get USD $600 per month.
The buildings have enough space for entertainment, a swimming pool, supermarkets, restaurants, and a gym.
The apartments are equipped with basic furniture like wardrobes, cupboards a solar heater, and bathrooms. A client can also pay more money to have equipment made available in the home such as fridges and utensils, among others.
