A crocodile attacked and munched Mukeshimana Esperance 21, a resident of Ruyenzi, Rubona ,Rukumberi Sector in Ngoma District.
The incidence happened when the diceased had gone to fetch water from Birira lake .
Mukeshimana was attacked on Saturday at about 7AM.
The Area Executive Secretary Nyamutera Emmanuel told reporters that this was the 5th victim to crocodile attacks in the area.
Nyamutera said a fence will be built around the lake shores in the area to prevent crocodiles from coming off shore.
