{{The Supreme Court has rejected requests by three men co-accused with Victoire Ingabire Umuhoza to be released from jail.}}
Lt. Col.Habiyaremye Noel, Major. Vital Uwumuremyi, and Lt. Col. Nditurende Tharcisse had argued in their appeal that they had completed their sentences and wanted court to order for their release to freedom.
The trio had on March 25 requested court to set them free. They said in their appeal that they were arrested on September 22, 2009.
However, prosecution also said the trio had been jailed on October 24,2010 and thus its not yet time to release them from jail.
They had been sentenced to three years and six months in jail.
