{The situation in Goma, Democratic Republic of Congo remains confuse after last night gunfire at Goma Airport.}
It is reported that armed men attacked bank and airport and bullet shots were still heard this (Tuesday) morning after nocturnal clashes.
Meanwhile a resident in Goma said “Night clashes took place at Goma airport, the attackers were trying to steal ammunition.”
IGIHE has learnt that schools around Goma airport sent back home students as the situation was still confusing.
Meanwhile some sources say attackers were trying to rob banks as well as stealing ammunition in nearby military camps around Goma.
However neither UN Mission in DRC nor FARDC commented on the last nigh clashes.
