Cogebanque opened Nyagatare branch on 1st December 2013 to support development through livestock and agricultural financing.

In 2016, Cogebanque started offering loan services to Nyagatare clients among other bank services.
The director of Cogebanque Nyagatare branch, Kavukire Jean Claude says the bank is committed to serving clients to utmost satisfaction.
“We have offered all bank services to our clients since we launched Nyagatare branch in 2013 and contributed to their progress,” he said.

Kavukire says that Nyagatare clients are encouraged to open ‘Shobora’ account where a customer saves every month and later receives a loan at low interest rate to start up income-generating projects.
Kavukire says that Nyagatare clients have managed to effectively run their agri-busi nesses, cultural projects and built their propensity to save.
Customers have, too, commended Shobora account as it helps them save for their future. Ntabwoba Bonaventure, Cogebanque regional manager , Eastern Province and Kigali city says that their branches offer good services and the bank is planning to increase its branches and number of agents in the province.
“Our branches in provinces have taken commendable steps in good service delivery. We planned to open a branch in Kirehe district but, meanwhile, commissioned agents offering basic services in developing commercial centers,” he said.
Through its corporate social responsibility, the bank has built a cow statue at the roundabout of Ryabega as part of joining the district to give a beauty to Nyagatare town and as a symbol of livestock farming in Nyagatare district.
Cogebanque has branches in Rwamagana, Kabarondo and Nyagatare.
