Clare Akamanzi, former Chief Operating Officer of the Rwanda Development Board (RDB) has been appointed the head the Policy & Strategy Unit at Office of President.
It is one of resolutions of yesterday’s Cabinet Statement that convened in Village Urugwiro presided over by president Paul Kagame.
Akamanzi executed various responsibilities including the agency’s deputy director of Rwanda Investment and Export Promotion Agency (RIEPA) from 20016 to 2008 and later became Chief Operating Officer at RDB.
She has received various awards in 2012 as an excellent Young Global Leaders.This award was given to 192 people by the World Economic Forum.
In 2015 she obtained the award as a woman who is an opinion leader in the Great Lakes donated by the association of newspapers based in South Africa writing on business.
Akamanzi became an international lawyer in business and investment .He obtained the bachelor degree in laws in Uganda and continued masters degree in South Africa and in Netherlands where she extended studies to international business and investment.
