The CHAN 2016 Local Organizing Committee (LOC) has released the match day ticket prices that have been made affordable for all fans ahead of the biennial tournament that kicks off on January 16-February 7.
“Ticket prices have been made affordable to allow all Rwandans from all sectors to attend CHAN 2016,” said Hon Julienne Uwacu, Rwanda Minister of Sports and Culture.
VVIP seating at Amahoro, Umuganda and Kigali Regional stadiums will cost Rwf10, 000 and Rwf5, 000 at the Huye Stadium.
Fans will have to part with Rwf5, 000 for each seat in the VIP area at Amahoro, Umuganda and Kigali Regional stadiums while it will cost Rwf3, 000 to buy a ticket for the VIP area in Huye.
The yellow seats at Amahoro Stadium as well as the covered areas at the Umuganda and Kigali Regional stadiums will cost Rwf2, 000 while they will go for Rwf1, 000 at the Huye Stadium. Public seats at all four venues will cost Rwf500.
As the countdown to the competition stays with less than 16 days, Rwanda national team Amavubi goes on with preparations. These include two friendlies with the Cameroon and the DRC national teams, respectively on 6th and 10th of January at Rubavu Stadium.
