During a guided tour at the National Bank of Rwanda, Prime Minister Dr. Pierre Damien Habumuremyi commended its ICT modernization achievements.
He added that IT facilities ensure better perspectives for the whole country starting from the financial sector.
PM, Wednesday, said the Central Bank is a key government partner for its unique role of policy formulation and ensuring implementation of policies.
During the meeting, the Prime Minister was briefed on other ICT modernization projects expected to be completed before the end of 2013.
“The Bank applied for ISO certification in ICT in order to give confidence to partners and stakeholders”, said Governor Amb. Claver Gatete.
