The study tour was aimed at incorporating the practical side of the Aerodynamics Concept, one of the modules taught.
The RwandAir Deputy Chief Executive Officer, Lt Col Sylvester Munyaneza who received them on behalf of RwandAir Management urged the students to explore the opportunity given to them with higher expectations.
Devothe Nizeyumukiza who spoke on behalf of her colleagues, thanked the Defense forces for availing such good environment of learning, and assured them to work hard for an optimum contribution to national development programs.
Rwanda Military Academy in partnership with the University of Rwanda has a Long Cadet Programme with three departments; Mechanical Engineering, General Medicine as well as Social and Military Sciences. Trainees have to graduate after satisfactory requirements for the academic and military packages.
The Cadet Officers who visited RwandAir and Akagera Aviation Company were from departments of Social and Military Sciences and Mechanical Engineering.
The Long Office Basic Training started in 2015 and the first graduation is scheduled in October 2019.
