Bus Burns to Ashes

Fire burnt a passenger bus Registration-RAB483H. It Belonged to ROYAL transport company.

The incidence happened Tuesday at a Garage belonging to Gandarare at Nyabugogo a suburb of Kigali city.

Mechanics at the garage used milk to extinguish the fire before the Police arrived at the scene. The mechanics told IGIHE that milk quickly extinguishes fire.

The Cause of the fire is said to have been a result of a Mechanic that was welding on the Bus.

Its said the welder accidentally tampered with tubes carrying fuel that later caught fire.

However, no one was injured as the Police arrived quickly at the scene. Other cars nearby were also removed to safe parking.
