{The Tribunal in Bujumbura has provisionally released Monday, a human rights activist and detainees, Pierre Claver Mbonimpa jailed since May.}
Last Week, U.S President Barack Obama has ordered an immediate release of this political figure in Burundi.
The decision to release him followed a medical report which testifies that his health is in danger because of several incurable diseases including acute diabetes, acute hypertension, coronary artery disease as well as injuries in the lungs.
The court’s decision states that Pierre Claver is not allowed to leave Bujumbura; he cannot go to the airport without permission of the court and will have to appear before the court whenever the court asked.
Mbonimpa was charged with endangering the internal and external security of the State and caeses related to paramilitary training of young Burundian close to the government in the DRC.
