Bugesera father nearly chops off child’s arm

{Tragedy has visited Rugunga village, Rugunga cell of Ntarama sector when a man cut the arm of his child leaving it on a thread-hold, accusing him of urinating on a bed.}

Ndahera Athanase,25, committed the offense recently and ,according to Eastern Province police spokesperson, IP Emmanuel Kayigi, the crime was discovered by the aunt of the child. His mother died.

Kayigi said that Ndahera is being held at Nyamata police station and is alleged to have been an incessant abuser of this child with harsh corporal punishments.

IGIHE has learnt that Ndahera has pleaded guilty and apologized for the crime which he attributed to drunkenness.
