Bugesera District top leaders resign

The mayor of Bugesera District, Emmanuel Nsanzumuhire, the district vice mayor in charge of social affairs, Uwiragiye Priscille, and the vice mayor in charge of economic development, Ruzindaza Eric, have all resigned their duties over personal reasons.

Speaking to IGIHE, the outgoing district vice mayor in charge of social affairs, Uwiragiye Priscille, confirmed the resignation.

β€œIt is true, we all tendered in our resignation letters, stating personal reasons,” Uwiragiye said.

Uwiragiye affirmed that there were no other reasons that triggered the entire executive leadership’s sudden resignation.

The resignation of Nsanzumuhire, Uwiragiye and Ruzindaza comes just after the dismissal of Gicumbi’s executive leadership composed of Mayor Juvenal Mudaheranwa, and Vice-Mayor in charge of Economic Development Jules Aimable Muhizi and Vice-Mayor in charge of Social Affairs, Charlotte Benihirwe.
