{{A senior Rwanda Defence Forces Officer, Brig. Gen. Dan Gapfizi lost his life in a car accident on Tuesday in Eastern Province along the Kayonza-Kagitumba road.
Brig Gen Joseph Nzabamwita, the Defence and Military Spokesperson,confirmed to IGIHE in a brief interview that Brig. Gen. Gapfizi and his driver identified as Rukarishya died in the accident.}}
Brig. Gen. Gapfizi (pictured below ) was the commandant of the Reserve Force in the Southern Region.
