Gen. Karake freed, Spain shows no interest in case Against Him

{The court in the U.K has ruled on Monday that Spain has showed no interest in the case against Gen. Karenzi Karake, hence setting him free.}

Rwandan spy Chief Karenzi Karake who was arrested in the UK in June and put on bail is free to go home, according to latest reports.

Karenzi Karake was detained at London’s Heathrow Airport in June, in response to a European Arrest Warrant.

After his arrest, Rwanda’s President Paul Kagame said it was a continuation of “colonialism” and accused the British of “arrogance and contempt”.

On Monday 10th August 2015, Rwanda’s Foreign Affairs Minister Louise Mushikiwabo wrote on her Twitter Account this was an abusive and unnecessary process.
