Bralirwa Pays Taxes Worth Frw60.83Billion

{{Rwanda’s major beverage company Bralirwa Ltd has announced that it paid over Frw60.83 billion inform of taxes to the government for the year ending 2012.}}

Bralirwa also reportedly delivered a strong performance in 2012 with earnings growing by +29.8%. In 2011, Bralirwa paid Frw53.3Billion in form of taxes to government.

Jonathan Hall the Managing Director of Bralirwa said the companys positive performance is significant in the country’s development.

Bralirwa’s Publicist Fred Nyangenzi said apart from contributing taxes to government, the beverage company has plaid a major role in environmental conservation efforts including planting over 169 thousand trees in Nyagatare and Bugesera districts.

Nyangezi added that the company has also resettled people previously living in disaster prone areas in northern province. “the company is also constructing a secondary school in Gisenyi town.”

Bralirwa is also the official sponsor of Primus Guma Guma Super Star.
