BRALIRWA LTD announces new retail prices for beers

{In a statement issued January 21, 2017, BRALIRWA Ltd says retail prices for some beers have been revised upwards in order to catchup with increased operation costs. }

The leading Rwandan brewery stresses that to cover the increased inputs and business cost the ex-factory increase was inevitable for the beer company. Bralirwa has increased retail prices for the first time since 2011.

The new recommended retail prices are as follows: Primus 33cl costs Rwf 400, Primus 50cl: Rwf 600, Primus 72cl: Rwf 800, Turbo King 33cl: Rwf 500, Turbo King 50cl: Rwf 700, Legend 30cl:Rfw 600 while Amstel 33cl costs Rwf 700.

According to this announcement Mutzig, Mutzig-Lite, Huza and Heineken as well as Coca-Cola brand will maintain their current prices and have not been affected by the price revision.
