The aircraft carrying the casket containing Habineza’s remains landed at Kigali International Airport on Friday around 4p.m and from where it was taken to the mortuary of Kacyiru Hospital.
Amb. Habineza died on 20th August 2021 succumbing to natural cause in Kenya where he had been taken for medical attention.
The final farewell to late Habineza is scheduled on Saturday 28th August before laying him to rest on Monday 30th August 2021.
The burial will take place in hybrid format due to ongoing measures to contain the spread of COVID-19 pandemic.
